TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated whether football players' self-efficacy fully or partially mediates the relation between their performance anxiety and their perceptions of coaches' effectiveness, and found that players' perceptions of coaching effectiveness were positively related to selfefficacy, and negatively related to somatic anxiety.
