Abstract: This paper presents a fast block matching motion estimation algorithm for H.264/AVC coding standard, based on a study of the Motion Vector(MV) obtained by the predictive diamond searching algorithm among several test sequences. We found that diamond search are faster and robust for most type of sequence.Based on temporal and spatial motion correlation among adjacent blocks in images,we propose a new fast and efficient block motion estimation algorithm which combine a series of skills such as distributed diamond search, the prediction process for motion estimation and early termination.Experimental results show that the speed of our proposed algorithm is faster than Predictive Diamond Searching Algorithm(PDSA),and this method even achieves closer to peak-signal-to-noise ratio(PSNR) of Full-Search Algorithm(FSA).

Rule Extraction Model Based on Decision Dependency Degree
TL;DR: A new rule extraction model based on decision dependency degree is proposed in this paper and theoretical analysis and experimental research show that the new model more accurately and effectively reduces the redundant data and extracts more concise decision rules from dataset.
