Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a spectrometer with a simple configuration for emitting monochromatic light in a broad wavelength band. SOLUTION: In a monochromator (diffraction grating spectrometer) 200, an incident-side diffraction grating 220 and an emission-side diffraction grating 230 are arranged symmetric with respect to a rotation center 210. A diffraction surface 221 of the incident-side diffraction grating 220 is arranged in parallel with and faces a diffraction surface 231 of the emission-side diffraction grating 230. An incident light 250, which is soft an X-ray, is diffracted at the diffraction face 221 of the incident-side diffraction grating 220 and is then diffracted again at the diffraction face 231 of the emission-side diffraction grating 230. The incident-side diffraction grating 220 and the emission-side diffraction grating 230 are arranged symmetrically with respect to the rotation center 210. The positional relation of the incident-side diffraction grating 220, the emission-side diffraction grating 230, and the rotation center 210 is fixed. The structure in which they are fixed uses a rotation mechanism rotating about the rotation center 210. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
