Differential sensitivity of liposarcoma subtypes to chemotherapy.
339
TL;DR: A retrospective analysis of a prospectively maintained database of soft tissue sarcoma patients treated at the Royal Marsden Hospital suggests that myxoid liposarcoma is relatively chemosensitive in comparison to a combination of other liposARcomas, and in particular de- and well-differentiated tumours.

Tolerability and Outcomes for Treatment of Older Myxoid Liposarcoma Population
Reilly A. Coombs,Judith Jebastin Thangaiah,Brittany L. Siontis,Steven I. Robinson,Scott H. Okuno,Matthew T. Houdek,Meng Xu‐Welliver,Thanh P. Ho +7 more
TL;DR: This study investigates treatment tolerability and outcomes in older patients with myxoid liposarcoma, a rare tumor type predominantly affecting younger individuals, to better understand the unique needs and responses of this understudied population.

Personalised pharmacotherapy options for soft tissue sarcomas
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors report updated data on precision therapy in patients with soft tissue sarcomas, particularly those of immediate utility in clinical practice, and provide a high unmet need for effective systemic therapy for patients with STS.

Expression levels of MDM2 and MDMX proteins and their associated effects on P53 in human liposarcomas
Nader Touqan
- 01 Aug 2014
TL;DR: The results of the study indicated that complex dynamic interactions between MDM2 and MDMX proteins may directly affect the cellular levels of P53 in human liposarcomas.

Nonparametric Estimation from Incomplete Observations
Edward L. Kaplan,Paul Meier +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, the product-limit (PL) estimator was proposed to estimate the proportion of items in the population whose lifetimes would exceed t (in the absence of such losses), without making any assumption about the form of the function P(t).

Soft‐tissue sarcomas of adults; study of pathological prognostic variables and definition of a histopathological grading system
Monique Trojani,Geneviève Contesso,Jean Michel Coindre,Jacques Rouëssé,Nguyen Binh Bui,A. De Mascarel,J. F. Goussot,Marc David,Françoise Bonichon,Lagarde C +9 more
TL;DR: A second multivariate analysis introducing clinical prognostic features showed that the histological grade was the most important prognostic factor for soft‐tissue sarcomas and appears to be highly interesting because of its prognostic value and the facility of its elaboration.
