Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively execute high-speed processing and reduce storage capacity, in relation to a device for processing image data and the like for generating a page raster being image data of a type rasterized on a page basis based on page description data described by a page description language for variable printing. SOLUTION: Storage layout information including a page comprising only reused components of identical components and the same arrangement, and a page of respective variable components is created from layout information with the layout of components described therein; output connection information for connecting the page of the reused components to the page of the variable components is created from layout information with the layout of components described therein; a page raster for storage is created based on the storage layout information; and a page raster for output is created based on the output connection information.
