PURPOSE:To shorten the debugging time by having a comparison between the switching state of address setting and the address state sent from CPU and by having a continous operation of CPU until a coincidence is secured from the comparison.

PURPOSE:To obtain a debugging device that can measure an accurate coverage of a microprocessor having a prefetching function for instruction causing the pipeline processing, by having comparison of contents between a coverage memory and a flag memory. CONSTITUTION:The execution of a target CPU 1 is started after 3-state buffers 9, 14 and 15 are turned off together with buffers 6, 12 and 14 turned on respectively. An instruction tracking circuit 3 detects an instruction with which an address flow becomes discontinuous and then activates the preset input LD of a presettable counter 2 and applies a clock CK pulse to preset again the address of the CPU 1. Thus data are written to a coverage memory 7 while the execution of a fetched instruction is detected. In case '1' is already written in a range of the coverage measuring addresses of the memory 7 and the contents of the memory 7 are changed to 0 from 1, it is considered that the relevant address has a hit. Thus it is possible to extract a hit factor and an unhit address by comparing the contents of a flag memory 16 stored previously with the contents of the memory 7.

PURPOSE:To improve facial accuracy, by a method wherein a soft metallic layer is formed on an external circumferential surface of a barlike body comprised of a fiber-reinforced resin material by sticking a thin cylindrical body composed of a soft metal close to the same through pressurization by narrowing down the cylindrical body and the surface of this soft metallic layer is coated further with a hard plated layer. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a formed barlike body 2 is machine-processed, the barlike body 2 is inserted within a pipe 12, the thin pipe 12 is stuck close to an external circumferential surface of the barlike body 2 through pressurization so that the thin pipe 12 is narrowed down to the same by making use of a die 13 and a soft metallic layer 11 is formed on the external circumferential surface of the barlike body 2. Then an end part 12A of the thin pipe 12 is cut off and the soft metallic layer 11 is finished evenly until fixed facial accuracy is attained by performing grinding processing to the surface of the soft metallic layer 16 is formed by performing hard chromium plating on the surface of the soft metallic layer 11. With this construction, facial accuracy can be improved by preventing that undulation or unevenness is left behind on the surface.
