Abstract: The 42nd edition of the ACM SIGMOD-SIGACT-SIGAI Symposium on Principles of Database Systems (PODS) was held from June 19 to June 21, 2023, in Seattle, USA. After two years of online-only and a year of hybrid conferences, PODS 2023 went back to a fully in-person conference format. As is customary, the symposium was held jointly with the ACM International Conference on Management of Data (SIGMOD).
