Abstract: On the base of general polynomial curve fitting, the paper discusses the definition, nature and construction method of orthogonal polynomials of data set of points, and this kind of orthogonal polynomial is used in original data loss, and lacked of basis functions of data fitting problem.Numerical experiments show that orthogonal polynomials and general polynomial fitting can get the same results, and orthogonal polynomials calculation is more simple.

Yang Yuan,Guo Tao,Bi Jiaqi,Zhang Wei,Yu Jiangshun,Zhao Jian,Yang Yang +6 more
- 01 Sep 2019
TL;DR: In this article, a new three-dimensional reconstruction model of power line is proposed, which is composed of two projection models of the power line in the plane where the horizontal specific load is located and the plane in which the vertical specific load was located.

Formant Dynamics of Chinese Compound Vowels with Implications for Forensic Speaker Identification
Jin Sung Kang,Aijun Li,Jingyang Li +2 more
- 28 Jun 2022
TL;DR: In this paper , the speaker discriminatory potential of the Standard Chinese compound vowels in their formant dynamics was investigated using a random forest classifier, and the results showed that high frequency formants (F3 and F4) display a greater discriminatory power compared to low-frequency formants(F1 and F2) in [ai, [ia], [ia, [iou], and [uei] while low formants display greater power in the other 4 nasal compound vowel vowels.
