Abstract: PURPOSE:To allow the user to observe advertisement. CONSTITUTION:Received data through a transmission line and including at least newspaper data and advertisement data are recorded on a Mini Disk (trade mark) 14. Newspaper data corresponding to the operation of a remote controller 18 are read out of the Mini Disk 14 and displayed on a display section 22. When the state of displaying the same newspaper data onto the display section 22 continues for a prescribed time, the display of the display section 22 is revised into advertisement data recorded on the Mini Disk 14.
