On the Partial-Period Correlation Moments of GMW Sequences
Jong-Seon No,P. Vijay Kumar +1 more
- 01 Oct 1987
TL;DR: An upper bound is derived for the fourth order p-p correlation moment of a large class of GMW sequences and is shown to be close to a lower bound derived from the general p- p correlation moment expression for arbitrary binary sequences given earlier by Kumar.

Performance of Haar wavelet based scale-code division multiple access (HW/S-CDMA) using decorrelating multi-user detector
Oguz Kucur,Guillermo E. Atkin +1 more
TL;DR: This paper analyzes the performance of Haar wavelet based S-CDMA (HW/S- CDMA) over a synchronous additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) channel using a decorrelating multi-user detector and results reveal that HW/s-CDma holds promise since the users of HW/S -CDMA can achieve variable and higher data rates than those of direct sequence (DS)-CDMA.

A serial acquisition scheme based on statistical-hypothesis-testing for asynchronous DS/CDMA systems
M. Guainazzo,Claudio Sacchi,Carlo S. Regazzoni +2 more
- 07 Aug 2002
TL;DR: An adaptive PN acquisition scheme based on a statistical hypothesis testing and able to reduce the detrimental effects on the acquisition process of multi-access interference present on the channel is presented.

Performance evaluation for multiple DSSS systems with channel bands overlapped
Ming Huei Chen,Bih-Hwang Lee,Chwan Chia Wu +2 more
- 15 Oct 1996
TL;DR: By conducting a variety of analyses, it is shown that the analytical formulation is very close to simulation results under certain conditions androximation of the signal to noise ratio (SNR) is derived by which the performance figure can be achieved with least expensive computational cost.

Fourier Transform and Its Applications
Ronald N. Bracewell
- 01 Jan 1980
TL;DR: In this paper, Fourier transform is used for spectral analysis of periodical signals and some properties of the spectrum are analyzed, and it is demonstrated that the spectrum is strongly depended of signal duration.

Polyphase codes with good periodic correlation properties (Corresp.)
TL;DR: This correspondence describes the construction of complex codes of the form exp i \alpha_k whose discrete circular autocorrelations are zero for all nonzero lags.

Complementary series
M. Golay
- 01 Apr 1961
TL;DR: These series, which were originally conceived in connection with the optical problem of multislit spectrometry, also have possible applications in communication engineering, for when the two kinds of elements of these series are taken to be +1 and -1, it follows immediately from their definition that the sum of their two respective autocorrelation series is zero everywhere, except for the center term.
