TL;DR: In this paper, a cross-application data sharing method and a web browser is presented, in which a web server instructs the web browser to save the data in a shared storage space, corresponding to the webpage, of the mobile terminal; and when a second application of a mobile terminal accesses the webpage by means of web browser, the web browsers can read the data from the shared storagespace and sends same to the second application, thereby conveniently realizing data sharing between any two applications of the same mobile terminal.

Abstract: The present application relates to the technical field of data sharing, in particular to a cross-application data sharing method and a web browser. In the cross-application data sharing method, when a first application accesses a webpage by means of a web browser of a mobile terminal where the application is located and writes data into the webpage, a web server instructs the web browser to save the data in a shared storage space, corresponding to the webpage, of the mobile terminal; and when a second application of the mobile terminal accesses the webpage by means of the web browser, the web browser can read the data from the shared storage space and sends same to the second application, thereby conveniently realizing data sharing between any two applications of the same mobile terminal.
