Feature controlled adaptive difference operators
Peter Veelaert,Kristof Teelen +1 more
- 01 Feb 2009
TL;DR: This work proposes to replace differential operators by the combined action of sets of feature detectors and locally adaptive difference operators, resulting in a more accurate computation of the required derivatives in each pixel neighborhood, to compute the best discrete approximation for the Laplacian differential operator.

Analysis and Simplex-type Algorithms for Countably Infinite Linear Programming Models of Markov Decision Processes.
Ilbin Lee
- 01 Jan 2015
TL;DR: In this article, a simplex-based algorithm for solving a CILP formulation of a non-stationary MDP with finite state space and finite action space is presented. But the algorithm is not suitable for solving general CILPs, mainly because useful theoretical properties and techniques of finite LPs fail to extend to general LPs.

Dissipative Stabilization of Linear Systems with Time-Varying General Distributed Delays (Complete Version)
TL;DR: In this paper, a Krasovski integral integral inequality was used to obtain sufficient conditions for the existence of a dissipative state feedback controller in terms of matrix inequalities without utilizing the existing reciprocally convex combination lemmas.

Stability of multiciteria nonlinear programming problems using fuzziness
TL;DR: By the proposed approach, the crisp intervals for the stability could be determined for the multicriteria nonlinear programming problems after solving two single nonlinear problems.

A lemma on convex functionals in finite-dimensional spaces
TL;DR: Etablissement d'une inegalite relative aux fonctionnelles convex dans les espaces de dimension finie is proposed in this paper, where a convex convex is assumed to be inegalité.
