A. Jaschke Machado,T. Rezende de Azevedo +1 more
- 01 Jan 2007
TL;DR: In this article, the surface temperature of the urban canyons in the city of Sao Paulo is remotely estimated through the use of precision infrared thermometers (IRTs), which are set up on a mobile platform, which moves through the bottom of the canyon.
Case study of wind-induced natural ventilation tower in hot and humid climatic conditions
Lim Chin Haw,Omidreza Saadatian,A H Baharuddin,Sohif Mat,M. Y. Sulaiman,Kamaruzzaman Sopian +5 more
- 07 Apr 2012
TL;DR: In this paper, the performance of a wind-induced natural ventilation tower through an empirical analysis in hot and humid climatic conditions was investigated, and it was shown that at external wind speed of 0.1m/s, the aerodynamic inverted airfoil roof geometry on the wind-induced NVR tower is able to generate extraction air flow rate of 10,000m3/h with average of 57 ACH.
