The Interpretation Of Hydrogen Ion Titration Curves Of Proteins
TL;DR: This chapter reviews that titration curves do not represent just another way of physically characterizing a protein molecule, and contains experimental procedures of general utility in the determination of titration data.

The Properties of Thyroglobulin: VIII. THE IODINATION OF THYROGLOBULIN
TL;DR: An analytical method has been used to study the sequence of tyrosine iodination and iodotyrosine coupling when thyroglobulin is iodinated in vitro and the effect of the primary, secondary and tertiary structure of the protein on this process has been investigated.

Isoelectric points and conformation of proteins: I. Effect of urea on the behavior of some proteins in isoelectric focusing
TL;DR: It is concluded that isoelectric focusing is not only useful for the fractionation of protein mixtures and for the determination of isOElectric points of proteins, as currently accepted, but also valuable for conformational studies of some proteins, especially those with known chemical structure.

Preliminary investigation of the behavior of lysozyme in urea solutions.
TL;DR: The intrinsic viscosity, optical rotation, and lytic activity of lysozyme have been investigated in urea solutions and it is concluded that at least part of the tertiary structure of the molecule is necessary for some step in the course of the lytic process.
