Abstract: PURPOSE:To perform bus matching and to perform interface conversion by providing a control part which outputs each signal of an expansion slot to the expansion slot by converting to the interface of an expansion adaptor, and controls first and second buffers. CONSTITUTION:When a data width signal outputted from the expansion adaptor requests the transfer of data of 16 bits, a command signal 13 is immediately outputted first when an access request signal 7 shows read access, and the readout of data is performed from the expansion adaptor. At this time, since the expansion adaptor outputs the data of 16 bits, low-order data 5 is transferred to data 4 as it is via a bidirectional buffer 2 with latch. The expansion slot acquires the low-order data 5, therefore, outputs an access request 7 to read out high-order data 6. The control part 1, when detecting the access request 7, transfers the data latched with the bidirectional buffer 3 with latch to the data 4 of the expansion slot without outputting an access request 9 to the expansion adaptor. Thereby, the extension of a system can be easily performed.
