Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate and extract each sample from a bit stream for a buffer memory which divides each sample of an input bit stream for every specific bit and successively stores these divided samples in word unit by dividing the input bit stream in every specific bit and storing these bit streams in a bit word memory. SOLUTION: A start word address generation part 312 reads the data including the 9th bit through the 3rd bit out of 10 bits and outputs the data after decimalization. A bit address generation part 314 reads the data including the 2nd bit through the 0-th bit and outputs them. Then the number of bits of each sample are accumulated at a sample pointer to separate the samples stored in a buffer memory part 315 from each other. Thus, the position of the 1st bit of the sample included in a word as well as an address stored in the part 315 are detected from those accumulated bits.

Data control method and data controller
Tanaka Noriyuki
- 28 Jul 2011
TL;DR: In this paper, a data control method and data controller for preventing the generation of the area where effective data is not written is proposed, which is performed as follows: data is written to the minimum writing unit being xth from the top in a flash memory 22 where the minimum data size is n bits, and the effective data length of the data written to m bits.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors propose a memory controller that, even if a read start address from a memory 2 is not a word address, can transfer data in a short period of time same as in the case of word address.
