Overview of pressure coefficient data in building energy simulation and airflow network programs
TL;DR: In this paper, an overview of pressure coefficient data and the extent to which they are currently implemented in Building Energy Simulation (BES) and Air Flow Network (AFN) programs is provided.

On-Site or Off-Site Renewable Energy Supply Options?: Life cycle cost analysis of a net zero energy building in denmark
TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigate the life cycle cost of different renewable energy supply options, and identify the cost-optimal combination between energy efficiency and renewable energy generation, and conclude that in case of the on-site renewable supply option, the energy efficiency should be the first priority in order to design a costoptimal Net ZEB.

Building energy simulation coupled with CFD for indoor environment: A critical review and recent applications
TL;DR: In this article, the authors present a comprehensive review of the open literature on motivations, methods and applications of linking stratified airflow simulation to building energy simulation (BES) and show that an external coupling scheme is substantially more popular in implementations of co-simulation than an internal coupling scheme.

Performance analysis of location-dependent cache invalidation schemes for mobile environments
TL;DR: This paper considers data inconsistency caused by client movements and proposes three location-dependent cache invalidation schemes and results show that, in most cases, the proposed methods substantially outperform the NSI scheme, which drops the entire cache contents when hand-off is performed.
Control strategies for intelligent glazed façade and their influence on energy and comfort performance of office buildings in Denmark
TL;DR: In this article, the authors developed a simplified hourly calculation method to calculate yearly energy and comfort performance of an office room equipped with an intelligent facade and verified the simplified method by the Danish dynamic building simulation tool BSim and experimental test in a full scale test facility at Aalborg University (Cube).
