Facile reductive excision of sulfur from a {Pt2S2} core in [Pt2(PPh3)4(μ-S)2] to a {Pt2S} triangle by carbon monoxide
Choon Hong Chin,T. S. Andy Hor +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a synthetic path is established in which [Pt 2 (CO) x (PPh 3 ) 4− x (μ-S)] (x = 0-2) can be prepared from [PT 2 (PPPh3 ) 4 (μ -S) 2 ] under CO at low pressure whereby reductive desulfurization of a {Pt II S 2 } core gives way to a Pt-Pt bonded {PT I S} triangle extrusion of COS gas.

Synthesis, properties and structures of complexes of platinum metal halides and Group 11 metals with two distibinomethane ligands, R2SbCH2SbR2 (R = Me or Ph)
Tina Even,Anthony R. J. Genge,Angela M. Hill,Nicholas J. Holmes,William Levason,Michael Webster +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, the structure of a distibinomethane bridged structure with square-planar MX2Sb2 metal centers was shown to be a trans-isomer.

Mono- and binuclear complexes of rhodium involving a new series of hemilabile o-phosphinoaniline ligands
TL;DR: X-Ray structural analyses of the mononuclear complexes suggest that the enhanced Type II hemilability in the dimeth Dylanilinyl complexes compared to their monomethyl analogues results from increased steric interactions involving the coordinated dimethylanilinyl substituents.
Structural systematics. Part 4. Conformations of the diphosphine ligands in M2(µ-Ph2PCH2PPh2) and M(Ph2PCH2CH2PPh2) complexes
David A. V. Morton,A. Guy Orpen +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, principal component analysis was used to reduce the dimensionality of the torsion angle data set and to aid in identification of favored conformations. But their analysis was limited to the MP2C2 five-membered ring and the attached phenyl groups.

Phosphido bridged heterodinuclear (Mn/Fe, Mn/Cr, Mn/W) complexes
TL;DR: X-ray diffraction studies of [(MeCp)Mn(CO)2]-μ-Ph2PPPh2) (4), 6, and 9 were carried out as discussed by the authors.

Gold‐Komplexe von Diphosphinomethanen, II. Synthese und Kristallstruktur achtgliedriger Ringverbindungen von Gold(I) mit Au–Au‐Wechselwirkung
TL;DR: In this paper, the X-ray structure analysis shows that the two gold atoms of the centrosymmetric eight-membered ring are surrounded by two phosphorus and one chlorine atom in an approximately trigonal planar configuration.

TL;DR: In this paper, the properties, reactions and structures of the resulting complexes, STAM/sub 2/Cl/sub 3/(PR/sub3/)/sub 6/!Cl (M = Ru or Os), were described.
