TL;DR: Ziel et al. as mentioned in this paper evaluated an image derived input function (IDIF) for an unbiased absolute quantification of [18F]PI-2620 tau-PET.

Abstract: Ziel/Aim [18F]PI-2620 Tau-PET shows potential to discriminate 4-repeat tauopathy (4RTs) patients from controls using reference tissue modeling. However, typical tau-PET reference regions (e.g. cerebellum) patients can be affected by tau pathology in 4RT, which may bias tau-PET assessments. Thus, we aimed to evaluate an image derived input function (IDIF) for an unbiased absolute quantification of [18F]PI-2620 tau-PET.
