Abstract: The invention, which relates to the geographic information system and the geographical mapping field, discloses an automatic integration method of point element groups. The method comprises: S1, determining a grid minimum spatial resolution and a point element density aggregation distance being a rectangular grid length; S2, covering the rectangular grid on a map; S3, establishing a density aggregation calculation model according to the grid minimum spatial resolution and current display sizes of various point element symbols; and S4, on the basis of a principle of not covering a symbol, dynamically displaying point element symbol sizes in the rectangular grid by combining the density aggregation calculation model, According to the application, a thickly-dotted display effect of point element groups can be avoided; a scientific, reasonable, and visual visualization effect with density aggregation and automatic integration can be realized, so that the visualization display technology of point group objects with a large magnitude order under a small measuring scale is perfected.
