Abstract: Cosmological model in the presence of cloud strings with electro- magnetic field in general theory of relativity. Exact solutions of field equations are obtained using the fact that shear scalar is proportional to scalar expansion and constant decelerating parameter which is derived from variation law of Hubble parameter proposed by Berman [1]. The dynamics and significance of physical parameters of the model are discussed using a graphical representation of these parameters. The physical and kinematical properties found in this model exhibit an accelerating expansion of the universe, which are compatible with current cosmological observations.

Topology of cosmic domains and strings
TL;DR: In this article, the possible domain structures which can arise in the universe in a spontaneously broken gauge theory are studied, and it is shown that the formation of domain wall, strings or monopoles depends on the homotopy groups of the manifold of degenerate vacua.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors discuss the role of topological defects in the early universe and the evolution of string fields and their relationship with the structure formation of strings, including superconducting and global strings.
The topological theory of defects in ordered media
TL;DR: Aspects of the theory of homotopy groups are described in a mathematical style closer to that of condensed matter physics than that of topology in this paper, where the focus is on mathematical pedagogy rather than on a systematic review of applications.

Empty space-times admitting a three parameter group of motions
TL;DR: In this paper, it is shown that if T, = 0 and there are no singularities anywhere in the g9, then equations (1.1) which take the form of second order partial differential equations for the g, and their solutions involve arbitrary functions which are to be determined from physical data expressed as initial values or boundary conditions.
