Abstract: The objective of this paper is to outline a methodology for the computation of the response of a multiconductor transmission line terminated by linear networks. The lines are embedded in a multilayered lossy dielectric media and have arbitrary cross sections, but uniform along the length. To check the accuracy of the theoretical results, extensive experimental verification has been carried out.

Delay extraction-based passive macromodeling techniques for transmission line type interconnects characterized by tabulated multiport data
TL;DR: In this paper, a delay extraction-based passive compact transmission line macromodel (DEPACT) algorithm is applied to obtain a passive and causal MAC for SPICE simulation.

TL;DR: The objective of this work was to design and build an impedance adaptive coupler to mitigate effects of channel attenuation caused by varying impedance and ensure that the propagating signal will “see” a uniform impedance and as a result the data output will be improved.

- 27 Mar 2006
TL;DR: It is shown that using 90nm technology, the signal timing and crosstalk of multi-coupled lines with asynchronous switching inputs have an excellent agreement with SPICE simulation but its computation time is several thousand times faster than that ofSPICE simulation using generic segment-based RLC circuit model.

The modified nodal approach to network analysis
TL;DR: In this article, a modified nodal analysis (MNA) method is proposed, which retains the simplicity and other advantages of nodal Analysis while removing its limitations, and a simple and effective pivoting scheme is also given.
