Performance analysis of a growable architecture for broad-band packet (ATM) switching
Mark J. Karol,Chih-Lin I +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the performance of a growable architecture for broadband asynchronous transfer mode (ATM) switching consisting of a memoryless self-routing interconnect fabric and modest-size packet switch modules is examined.

A preferential attachment model with random initial degrees
TL;DR: In this paper, the degree sequence of a random graph process is analyzed and the main result is that the asymptotic degree sequence for this process is a power law with exponent tau=min{tau(W),Tau(P)}, where tau(w) is the power-law exponent of the initial degrees and tau (P) is predicted by pure preferential attachment.
Time-Entanglement Between Mind and Matter
Hans Primas
- 01 Dec 2003
TL;DR: In this paper, a contextual description of the holistic reality in terms of two categorically different domains, one tensed and the other tenseless, is given, in addition to tensed time, non-material processes and mental events.

Growth and the Size Distribution of Firms
TL;DR: In this article, the authors describe an analytically tractable model of balanced growth that is consistent with the observed size distribution of firms, which is the result of idiosyncratic firm productivity improvements, selection of successful firms, and imitation by potential entrants.
