Abstract: Positioning technology is one of the key technologies of wireless sensor networks. Aiming at the defect of the positioning accuracy of the classical DV-Hop algorithm, an improved algorithm is proposed. The hop count is corrected by the correction parameter to obtain the optimal hop count. The average hop distance is corrected by using the minimum mean square error criterion and the single hop average error. The calculation of the coordinates of nodes uses the simulated annealing method. The experiment proves that the improved algorithm in this paper has smaller deviation and higher accuracy.

TL;DR: A novel 3D MSVR-DV-Hop algorithm based on node filtering is proposed to improve positioning accuracy and adaptability in wireless sensor networks. The algorithm improves the three stages of hop acquisition, distance estimation and coordinate calculation, and achieves significant reductions in positioning errors compared with other algorithms in three-dimensional scenes.
