TL;DR: The results show that the ‘Fruit and Veg’ foodshed of the UK has increased over the studied period and that particularly vegetables are increasingly sourced from abroad, suggesting that the UK is increasingly reliant on other countries to satisfy its recommended nutritional needs.

Refugee Food Insecurity & Technology: Surfacing Experiences of Adaptation, Navigation, Negotiation and Sharing
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors used an Experience-Centred design approach to gain a holistic understanding of the experiences of refugee food insecurity and how refugees envision technologies can support them, and found that a multitude of technologies may be designed to enhance the aforementioned experiences and enable refugees to better cope with food insecurity.
