TL;DR: Twenty-four collections from eight sample sites of the central region of the state Quintana Roo, Mexico, were sampled during 1986, and a total of 223 species were identified, of which 118 species are Rhodophyta, 27 Phaeophyta and 78 Chlorophyta.
