Abstract: Parameterized static affine nested loop programs can be automatically converted to input-output equivalent Kahn Process Network specifications. These networks turn out to be close relatives of parameterized cyclo-static dataflow graphs. Token production and consumption can be cyclic with a finite number of cycles or finite non-cyclic. Moreover the token production and consumption sequences are binary.

TL;DR: This paper proposes a novel methodology for automated design of an embedded multiprocessor system, which can run multiple hard- real-time streaming applications simultaneously and enables the use of hard-real-time multiprocessionor scheduling theory to schedule the applications in a way that temporal isolation and a given throughput of each application are guaranteed.

TL;DR: To enable obtaining more realistic performance results than with traditional design-time analysable dataflow models, a scenario-aware generalisation of SDF was recently introduced, and this report presents SADF in detail, including all features for specifying complex correlations between scenario occurrences.

TL;DR: The Parameterized Polyhedral Process Network (P3N) MoC has been developed to model adaptive streaming applications with parameter reconfiguration and implementation of the P3N MoC on a MPSoC platform has shown that run-time performance penalty due to parameter reconfigurement is negligible.

TL;DR: A novel architectural level design methodology based on a formalism called multirate synchronization graphs is presented along with methods for performance evaluation, based on the integration of relevant properties of MPI with dataflow semantics.

TL;DR: A preliminary SDF software system for automatically generating assembly language code for DSP microcomputers is described, and two new efficiency techniques are introduced, static buffering and an extension to SDF to efficiently implement conditionals.

Cycle-static dataflow
TL;DR: The CSDF paradigm is an extension of synchronous dataflow that still allows for static scheduling and, thus, a very efficient implementation of an application and it is indicated that CSDF is essential for modelling prescheduled components, like application-specific integrated circuits.

Parameterized dataflow modeling for DSP systems
TL;DR: This paper develops precise, formal semantics for parameterized synchronous dataflow (PSDF), the application of the parameterized modeling framework to SDF that allows data-dependent, dynamic DSP systems to be modeled in a natural and intuitive fashion.

TL;DR: A parameterized dataflow framework that can be applied as a meta-modeling technique to significantly improve the expressive power of an arbitrary data-flow model that possesses a well-defined concept of a graph iteration is proposed.
