Abstract: In recent years, it is observed that driving can occupy a large span of one’s daily life. Dangerous road accidents can occur due to various reasons. Most importantly, the driver should be attentive so that collisions can be avoided. Image processing method areused to process an image for getting some valuable information from it. In this work, a driving assistant system using image processing method has been proposed, where the facial expression that reveals the exhaustion level of the driver can be identified and alerts him accordingly.
