Abstract: In November 2006, a panel of experts participated in a teleconference to discuss the issue of adherence to antihypertensive therapy. The panel was chaired by JoAnne M. Foody, MD, of the Yale University School of Medicine, Section of Cardiovascular Medicine, New Haven, CT. Also participating were Joshua S. Benner, PharmD, ScD, ValueMedics Research, Falls Church, VA, and William Frishman, MD, New York Medical College, Valhalla, NY.
