Abstract: On the base of research on real-time transport protocol and real-time transport control protocol(RTP/RTCP),a flow control algorithm is proposed by introducing synthesis prediction, and variable increase and decrease are used to adjust sending rate adaptively. Finally, the experiments are carried out to illustrate that the algorithm can enhance the stabilization of RTP flow, decrease the jitter, and utilize network bandwidth efficiently.

Research on QoS of Live Broadcast in Multicast Transmission
Yan-ling Shao,Dong-feng Yuan,Shui Wang +2 more
- 06 Dec 2010
TL;DR: Experiments show that with this congestion control strategy the image quality did not change significantly before and after transmission, jamming in playback is rare, and the screen jitter problem caused by network congestion and packet loss were solved satisfactorily.
