1. Who helped in the writing process?
Colleagues at King's, including cofounding members of the Gulshan Strategic Studies Group (GSSG), provided discussions, distractions, and guidance. Bence Nemeth, in particular, helped with the book's structure, themes, and more. Amanda Chisholm organized writing sprints during lockdown, offering structure and focus. Marc Lynch and Caelyn Cobb at Columbia provided patience and encouragement. The production team at KGL also contributed diligent work. Teaching at various institutions helped refine arguments and ideas. Gratitude is expressed to Sciences Po for authoring courses and to PhD students for insightful discussions. The writer's family and French and Scottish contingents are also thanked for their support.
