In Vivo Characterization of the Ultrapotent Monoacylglycerol Lipase Inhibitor {4-[bis-(benzo[d][1,3]dioxol-5-yl)methyl]-piperidin-1-yl}(1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)methanone (JJKK-048).
Niina Aaltonen,Ewa Kędzierska,Jolanta Orzelska-Górka,Marko Lehtonen,Dina Navia-Paldanius,Hermina Jakupović,Juha R. Savinainen,Tapio Nevalainen,Jarmo T. Laitinen,Teija Parkkari,Mikko Gynther +10 more
TL;DR: In vivo effects of JJKK-048 are characterized, showing a massive increase in mouse brain 2-AG levels without affecting brain anandamide levels and maintaining good selectivity toward MAGL over other serine hydrolases.

Antinociceptive activity of Helicteres isora.
TL;DR: Helicteres isora root extracts were studied for antinociceptive activity on acetic acid-induced writhing test in mice, and petroleum ether, chloroform and aqueous ethanol extracts have shown significant activity.

Structure-based design of benzimidazole sugar conjugates: synthesis, SAR and in vivo anti-inflammatory and analgesic activities.
Ahmed O. H. El-Nezhawy,Samir T. Gaballah,Mohamed A. A. Radwan,Ayman R. Baiuomy,Omar M.E. Abdel-Salam +4 more
TL;DR: Compounds 6, 7, 10, 13, 15, and 16 showed significant anti-inflammatory and analgesic activities.

Neutrophilic Cell-Free Exudate Induces Antinociception Mediate by the Protein S100A9
TL;DR: Results clearly indicate that S100A9 is secreted during glycogen-induced neutrophilic peritonitis, and that this protein is responsible by antinociception observed in the initial phase of inflammatory reaction, and reinforce the hypothesis that the calcium-binding protein S 100A9 participates of the endogenous control of inflammatory pain.

New pyrazole derivative 5-[1-(4-fluorophenyl)-1H-pyrazol-4-yl]-2H-tetrazole: synthesis and assessment of some biological activities.
Lanussy Porfiro de Oliveira,Daiany Priscilla Bueno da Silva,Iziara Ferreira Florentino,James Oluwagbamigbe Fajemiroye,Thiago Sardinha de Oliveira,Renato Ivan de Ávila Marcelino,Francine Pazini,Luciano M. Lião,Paulo César Ghedini,Soraia Santana de Moura,Marize Campos Valadares,Verônica Vale Carvalho,Boniek G. Vaz,Ricardo Menegatti,Elson Alves Costa +14 more
TL;DR: Suggesting a safe toxicity profile, 5‐[1‐(4‐fluorophenyl)‐1H‐pyrazol‐4‐yl]‐2H‐tetrazole reduced the viability of 3T3 cells at higher concentrations and was orally tolerated, despite signs of toxicity in doses of 2000 mg/kg.
