Abstract: This work developed a workflow engine that enables the execution of workflows on existing Cloud platfor ms. The workflow engine automatically delivers the computation of each individual task to the selected Cloud and transfers the input/output data across different platforms. Additionally, it predicts the execution time and payment of the tasks, helping users select the best Cloud services with respect to the performance vs. cost tradeoff.
