Abstract: A method is described for the determination of urea in plasma and urine. The effects of variations in the experimental conditions are examined and the results of recovery experiments and other tests of precision and accuracy are reported. In comparison with other methods in current use, this method has distinct advantages in sensitivity, simplicity, and precision, thus economizing in time, sample volume, reagents, and equipment.

Influence of the herbicides Goltix and Sencor on nitrification process in two soils.
TL;DR: In this article, the effects of two herbicides, Sencor and Goltix, on nitrification in two soils were studied using a mixed culture of nitrifying bacteria.

Hypoglycemic effect of white (Morus alba L.) and black (Morus nigra L.) mulberry fruits in diabetic rat
TL;DR: In this paper, the hypoglycemic effect of white and black mulberry fruits either used individually or in a combination on alloxan diabetic rats was investigated. And the results showed that the mixture of mulberry fruit powder showed the most significant improvement in feed efficiency ratio with increasing body weight gain, as well as decrease in blood glucose level and liver-kidney dysfunction when compared with diabetic control rats.

TL;DR: In no phase after the initiation of the acute-phase response was in vivo urea synthesis orchestrated in combination with acute- phase protein synthesis so as to limit N waste.

Micromethods for determination of ammonia, urea, total nitrogen, uric acid, creatinine (and creatine), and allantoin
TL;DR: The success with which Krebs and Henseleit employed Warburg’s method of surviving tissue slices in the problem of the formation of urea in the liver encouraged its use for a direct attack on other problems of nitrogen metabolism in animals.
