Studies on the local immunity of intestinal tract of chickens after oral administration of Newcastle disease virus.
TL;DR: Indirect fluorescent antibody microphotograph of sections of the small intestine revealed that a sort of surface infection was established by the oral administration of enterotropic NDV, but the virus was scarcely recovered from feces after the second feeding.

Effects of Thyrotropin on Iodine Metabolism of Dog Thyroid Cells in Tissue Culture
TL;DR: The majority of the iodinated macromolecular product accumulated by follicular thyroid cells, by monolayer thyroid cells stimulated with thyrotropin for a prolonged period, or by thyroid cells treated with dibutyryl cAMP from the onset of culture has the characteristics of 19 S thyroglobulin.

The M-antigen in HK and LK sheep red cell membranes.
Peter K. Lauf,D. C. Tosteson +1 more
TL;DR: It was characteristic for the hemolysis of HK red cells by the M-antiserum the all HK cells were ultimately hemolyzed at suboptimal antibody concentrations, provided the time of incubation at 37 °C was sufficiently long, and theM-antigen appears to be expressed on all red cells of an individual HK sheep.

Studies on diarrhea in neonatal calves: the plasma proteins of normal and diarrheic calves during the first ten days of age.
TL;DR: Of the diarrheic calves, those that died had significantly lower gamma globulin concentrations than the other calves, and there was no significant relationship between the concentration of the various proteins and the season of the year.

Light chain homogeneity of post-infective cold agglutinins.
Ten Feizi,Mary Schumacher +1 more
TL;DR: Three post-infective cold agglutinins, two of which were associated with human infection with Mycoplasma pneumoniae were purified and compared with cold agglotinins isolated from three patients with chronic autoimmune haemolytic anaemia as regards their immunoelectrophoretic patterns, their light chain types and the appearances of their lightchain zones in starch gel electrophoresis.
