Abstract: The local construction industries generate about 14 million tonnes of construction and demolition (CD) materials every year. Inthe past, the inert part of the CD materials has been reused as public fill in reclamation projects, which results in land supply for development. However, with the recent raised awareness of sustainable development, recycling is accepted as a valuable process that turns useless materials intouseful products. The inert CD materials comprise of rocks, sand, mud, slurry, brokenconcrete, and rubble. It could be recycled into aggregate for use as civilengineering construction materials. The construction industry is seekingways to ensure that recycling of CD material is viable and sustainable. The paper discussed the initiation of the idea of recycling of CDmaterial, the preparation for introducing the use of recycling CD products, the promotion of its use and the establishment of the first pilot recyclingplant. Finally, the paper describes the strategy for recycling of CDmaterials.

Abstract: There are usually some main prob-lems for the water environment in the urbandevelopment, such as water lavishness, environ-ment pollution, flood and water-logging, struc-ture and function of ecosystem, and landscapebe destroyed. The eco-essence of these problemsare the ecological stagnancy and exhaustion re-sulted from resource input-output in the spatialand temporal scale; misplacement and dishar-mony in the system structure, function and be-tween structure andf unction; misplacementa nddisharmony between the system structure andfunction; short-sighted social activity and thecollision between ecology and economy, partsand the whole.
TL;DR: Based on the style analysis of cities in different scale, the authors make a primary study on the index selecting of urban tourism competitiveness system and give some trends of urban tourism.
Abstract: Urban tourism competitive-ness is an important part of urban competi-tiveness system. With the development oftourism, the competitions at the national,or regional level become more and moredrastic. However, the researches on urbantourism competitiveness are just beginning, and the perfect theoretical system has notbeen formed. Based on the style analysis ofcities in different scale, the authors make aprimary study on the index selecting of ur-ban tourism competitiveness system andgive some trends of urban tourism.
