Abstract: The Confucius takes “kindheartedness”as center to expound the death consciousness with obvious characteristic,then Chuangzi takes “nature” as foundation to discuss the death consciousness with a strong naturalism color.In many respects the two forms are obvious opposition,but they also have the same place in some respect.Two kinds of death consciousness are for 'living” in essence,and for people to live more meaningfully.The modern people absorb worthy aspects from them in the comparison,which will have a very great help to their life.
