Abstract: This study aims to find out how the management of the dormitory in improving the discipline of students at the MTs level at the Al Kausar Islamic Boarding School, Sukabumi Regency. The research method used is a descriptive method using a qualitative approach. The techniques used in data collection are interviews, observation, and documentation studies. Data analysis was carried out by coding data, categorizing and interpreting data. The results of this study indicate that the management of the hostel with the aim of increasing student discipline carried out at the Al Kausar Islamic boarding school can be carried out well, this cannot be separated from the management elements, namely; planning, organizing, implementing and monitoring. Other findings in this study indicate that at the Al Kausar Islamic boarding school there are several supporting programs to realize the disciplined character of students, including; special programs for moral formation, habituation of worship, discipline programs, and fostering guardians of dormitories. In addition to the boarding program, the Al Kausar Islamic Boarding School also applies several elements in order to encourage the acceleration of the growth of santri discipline, these elements are; regulations, giving punishments and rewards for outstanding students.Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana manajemen asrama dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan santri tingkat MTs di Pesantren Al Kausar Kabupaten Sukabumi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan merupakan metode deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan coding data, kategorisasi dan interpretasi data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa manajemen asrama dengan tujuan peningkatan kedisiplinan santri yang dilaksanakan di pesantren Al Kausar dapat terlaksana dengan baik, hal ini tidak terlepas dari unsur-unsur manajemen yaitu; perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan dan pengawasan. Adapun temuan lain dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa di pesantren Al Kausar ini terdapat beberapa program penunjang untuk mewujudkan karakter kedisiplinan santri, diantaranya; program khusus pembentukan akhlak, pembiasaan ibadah, program kedisiplinan, dan pembinaan wali asrama. Selain perogram keasramaan, pesantren Al Kausar juga memberlakukan beberapa unsur dalam rangka mendorong percepatan tumbuhnya kedisiplinan santri, unsur-unsur tersebut adalah; peraturan, pemberian hukuman dan reward bagi santri berprestasi.

Abstract: Applications in Islamic education cannot be separated from the challenges that have an impact on the quality of the students. This challenge, if left unchecked, will further distance itself from its goal, to form Al Insan Al Kamil. So the concept of ta'dib becomes an offer to strengthen the application of Islamic education. This article aims to explore the process of ta'dib as a solid foundation that strengthens the application of Islamic education. The method used in this article is qualitative with a systematic literature review approach. Relevant articles were collected from the google scholar portal through the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Item for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses) flow. Then a descriptive content analysis was carried out. The results found indicate that the thing that is prioritized in the ta'dib process is the integration of knowledge, charity, and morals in everyday life. The ta'dib process is a two-way process between educators and students. This process emphasizes good examples and habituation. Its application is not only in schools setting but is also sustainable in the family and society in general.

Abstract: Pesantren in general, as a non-formal educational institution, has now experienced significant development and has become one of the choices for parents to entrust their children to study. This is because many pesantren have opened themselves from conventional Islamic educational institutions to be more open to the demands of the times both in terms of curriculum and infrastructure. So that it is a hope for parents that when their children study at the pesantren in addition to gaining religious knowledge, they can also follow and adjust to the modernity that cannot be avoided, this hope then relies a lot on the pesantren. With the increasing number of students in the pesantren, it becomes homework on how to create a comfortable pesantren atmosphere for students, especially in terms of psychology so that they can participate in all activities at the pesantren to the fullest. The existence of Musyrif and Musyrifah has an extraordinary role in creating a comfortable atmosphere for a Santri to carry out activities at the pesantren. The purpose of this study was to analyze the Musyrif and Musyrifah guidance programs to improve their performance at the Al-Ma'tuq Cisaat Sukabumi Islamic boarding school. This research uses a descriptive-analytical method using document data collection tools, interviews, and observations. The results showed that the performance improvement guidance program at the Al-Ma’tuq Cisaat Sukabumi Islamic boarding school was through provisioning at the beginning of the year for the Musyrif and Musyrifah in the form of providing materials such as leadership, camaraderie, psychology, and management then continued with the Tahsin, Tahfidz and Ta'lim programs in weekly and monthly. From the Mutaba'ah, it is accumulated in the form of a Musyrif and Musyrifah Syahadah (report card) at Al-Ma’tuq Islamic Boarding School, Cisaat Sukabumi.AbstrakPesantren secara umum, sebagai lembaga pendidikan non formal saat ini telah mengalami perkembangan yang signifikan dan menjadi salah satu pilihan dari orang tua untuk menitipkan anak-anaknya dalam menuntut ilmu. Hal tersebut dikarenakan banyak pesantren-pesantren yang telah membuka diri dari lembaga pendidikan Islam yang konvensional menjadi lebih terbuka terhadap tuntutan zaman baik dari segi kurikulum maupun sarana prasarana. Sehingga menjadi harapan bagi orang tua agar ketika anaknya belajar di pesantren selain memperoleh ilmu agama, juga dapat mengikuti dan menyesuaikan diri dengan kemodernan yang tidak bisa dihindari, harapan ini kemudian banyak disandarkan kepada pesantren. Dengan jumlah santri yang semakin banyak di pesantren kemudian hal ini menjadi pekerjaan rumah bagaimana menciptakan suasana pesantren yang nyaman bagi para santri terutama dalam segi psikologisnya agar dapat mengikuti semua kegiatan di pesantren dengan maksimal. Keberadaan Musyrif dan Musyrifah memiliki peran yang luar biasa dalam menciptakan suasana nyaman seorang santri untuk menjalani aktivitas di pesantren. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis program bimbingan Musyrif dan Musyrifah untuk meningkatkan kinerjanya di pondok pesantren Al-Ma’tuq Cisaat Sukabumi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analitis dengan menggunakan alat pengumpul data dokumen, wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program bimbingan peningkatan kinerja di pondok pesantren Al-Ma’tuq Cisaat Sukabumi adalah melalui pembekalan di awal tahun terhadap para musyrif dan musyrifah berupa pemberian materi seperti leadership, keasramaan, psikologi dan manajemen kemudian di lanjutkan dengan program tahsin, tahfidz serta ta’lim di mingguan dan bulanan. Selain hal tersebut di Pondok Pesantren Al-Ma’tuq juga memiliki mutaba’ah harian yang akan menjadi penilaian kinerja dengan item 1). Ibadah wajib 2). Ibadah sunah 3). Kedisiplinan 4). Keteladanan 5). Komitmen. Dari mutaba’ah tersebut terakumulasi dalam bentuk syahadah (raport) Musyrif dan Musyrifah di Pondok Pesantren Al-Ma’tuq, Cisaat Sukabumi.

Abstract: Islamic education always upholds spiritual values such as faith and piety to Allah in every educational process and instills these spiritual values into the hearts of students so that they believe that spiritual values are the main basis in carrying out their lives. Spiritual intelligence is closely related to intellectual intelligence and emotional intelligence even intellectual and emotional intelligence cannot be balanced without being accompanied by spiritual intelligence. Knowing the magnitude of the benefits of spiritual intelligence for students in an educational process, it is necessary to have a method in increasing spiritual intelligence to make it easier to achieve the goals of Islamic education itself. This paper aims to find out how to increase the spiritual intelligence of the perspective of Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taimiyah in the At-Tuhfah al-'Iroqiyyah book. This study uses a qualitative approach with library research type, the primary data source in this study is At-Tuhfah al-'Iroqiyyah by Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taimiyah while the secondary data in this study is the work of Muslim scholars and scholars who focus on discussing soul cleansing and spiritual intelligence. Based on the analysis of the book At-Tuhfah al-'Iroqiyyah by Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taimiyah, it can be concluded that increasing spiritual intelligence must be based on cleansing the soul of things that can hinder the increase in spiritual intelligence.

Abstract: Education is an important aspect of life. All the things that everyone does in their lives are part of the process and also the product of education. Including building and advancing the standard of life of the Indonesian nation is with the educational path. However, the results of the 2018 Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) study reported that out of 399 education units with 12,988 participants, Indonesia is still included in the low-performance category, which means that the condition of education in Indonesia, in general, has not reached its maximum (low) condition. This indicates that the role of educational institutions in Indonesia still needs to be improved, especially in the assessment indicators of educational institutions. One of the ways taken by the government is by certified teachers. This study tries to find out how the implementation of teacher certification in building the protection of educational institutions. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study approach at SMAIT Ummul Quro. The results of the study prove that teacher certification builds the protection of educational institutions through improving teacher professionalism, teacher discipline, learning innovation, community interest, and the quality of school achievement. Abstrak Pendidikan adalah aspek penting dalam kehidupan. Semua hal yang dikerjakan setiap orang dalam kehidupannya adalah bagian dari proses dan juga produk pendidikan. Termasuk untuk membangun dan memajukan taraf kehidupan bangsa Indonesia adalah dengan jalur pendidikan. Akan tetapi, hasil studi Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) 2018 melaporkan bahwa dari 399 satuan pendidikan dengan 12.988 peserta, Indonesia masih masuk ke dalam kategori low performance, yang berarti kondisi pendidikan di Indonesia secara umum belum mencapai kondisi maksimal (rendah). Hal ini menandakan peranan lembaga pendidikan di Indonesia masih perlu ditingkatkan, terutama dalam indikator penilaian lembaga pendidikan. Salah satu cara yang ditempuh oleh pemerintah adalah dengan sertifikasi guru. Penelitian ini mencoba untuk mengetahui bagaimana implementasi dari sertifikasi guru dalam membangun perlindungan lembaga pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus di SMAIT Ummul Quro. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa sertifikasi guru membangun perlindungan lembaga pendidikan melalui peningkatan profesionalisme guru, kedisiplinan guru, inovasi pembelajaran, minat masyarakat dan mutu prestasi sekolah.
