TL;DR: In this article, the hot-filament CVD method was used to synthesize diamond thick films on a 110mm Mo substrate using gaseous acetone as carbon source and under the action of high purity H2.
Abstract: High quality free-standing diamond thick films have been synthesized successfully on Φ110mm Mo substrate by using the hot-filament CVD method,in which using gaseous acetone as carbon source and under the action of high purity H2. From the measurements,it is found that the quality of diamond thick films produced using the method has reached the results reported at home and abroad.

TL;DR: In this paper, different concentrations of boride powders were put into the powdered iron-based catalyst to get the different kinds of BORON-doped diamonds with high oxidation resistance under the high temperature-high pressure conditions.
Abstract: Oxidation resistance has been an important guide line to evaluate the quality and capability of synthetic diamond in the world. In this paper different concentrations of boride powders were put into the powdered iron-based catalyst to get the different kinds of boron-doped diamonds with high oxidation resistance under the high temperature-high pressure conditions. The optics microscope, x-ray diffractometer and different thermal analyzer were carried out to investigate the morphology, crystal structure and oxidation resistance of different kinds of boron-doped diamonds. The experimental results demonstrate that the diamonds with high oxidation resistant can be attained through controlling the boron concentration in the metal catalyst.

01 Jan 2009-Superhard Material Engineering
TL;DR: In this article, the properties of pyrophyllite especially after high temperature and high pressure were measured by X-ray, Raman spectrum and electron microscope and the valuable information for the production was found.
Abstract: Synthesizing superhard material at high temperature and high pressure needs the sealing medium. Pyrophyllite is the most common seal, pressure transfer and heat preservation, insulation material in domestic at present. In the paper, the properties of pyrophyllite especially after high temperature and high pressure were measured by X-ray,Raman spectrum and electron microscope. As a result, the valuable information for the production was found.
