TL;DR: The possible biological roles and the development of G-quadruplex-interactive compounds as anti-cancer drugs were highlighted.
Abstract: In addition to the familiar duplex DNA, certain G-rich DNA sequences can be folded into four-stranded structures, which are made up of four guanine (G) bases, and the secondary structures are called G-quadruplexes. In this review, the possible biological roles of G-quadruplexes and the development of G-quadruplex-interactive compounds as anti-cancer drugs were highlighted.
TL;DR: The clinical results showed that the skin lesions in the treatment group in which 0.25 grams of Acidum Tranexamicum were given by oral, three times one day and for six to eight weeks were significantly subsided, and the total efficient rate was 82.03%.
Abstract: The effect of Acidum Tranexamicum and Vitamin C and E on Melasma was investigated in 128 cases. The clinical results showed that the skin lesions in the treatment group in which 0.25 grams of Acidum Tranexamicum were given by oral, three times one day and for six to eight weeks were significantly subsided, the total efficient rate was 82.03%,and there were significant difference between the treatment group and the control group while no important side effects were found during the period of treatment.
TL;DR: The characterization, forming mechanism and formulation of SMEDDS, as well as the evaluation of the systems and the effect factors on bioavailability by oral administration were expatiated in detail.
Abstract: The recent development of self-microemulsifying drug delivery systems (SMEDDS) was summarized. The characterization, forming mechanism and formulation of SMEDDS, as well as the evaluation of the systems and the effect factors on bioavailability by oral administration were expatiated in detail. Furthermore, the recent application research was introduced.
TL;DR: The structure activity relationship and designing idea of development of the three generations of antiglaucoma CAIs were reviewed, and several representative antiglAUcomaCAIs were introduced.
Abstract: Carbonic anhydrase inhibitors (CAIs) can decrease the generation of the aqueous humor by inhibiting the secretion of it, reducing the intraocular pressure for treatment of glaucoma. The structure activity relationship and designing idea of development of the three generations of antiglaucoma CAIs were reviewed. And several representative antiglaucoma CAIs were introduced.
TL;DR: This paper presented a review of chemical and pharmacological study on Psoralea corylifolia in recent years, and its multiple biological activities, such as antitumor, affecting drug metabolism, and inhancing immunity, were revealed.
Abstract: This paper presented a review of chemical and pharmacological study on Psoralea corylifolia in recent years. Its multiple biological activities, such as antitumor, affectting drug metabolism, antimicrobial, antiviral, antiosteoporosis and inhancing immunity, were revealed.
