Abstract: The Ross-Adams deposit (southern Prince of Wales Island, SE. Alaska) represents an uncommon type of U-Th deposit in which uranothorite and uranoan thorianite are the chief ore minerals. The deposit, which forms a crudely fusiform ore body in alkali granite, is the source of the only U ore that was mined in Alaska. (GeoScience Abstr. 2, No. 3, 1960)
