TL;DR: In this paper , the authors highlight the potential benefits and challenges of integrating generative AI tools into art and design classrooms, emphasizing the importance of prompt engineering, iterative processes, and ethical considerations as these technologies continue to evolve.
Abstract: The rapid development and adoption of generative artificial intelligence (AI) tools in the art and design education landscape have introduced both opportunities and challenges. This timely study addresses the need to effectively integrate these tools into the classroom while considering ethical implications and the importance of prompt engineering. By examining the iterative process of refining original ideas through multiple iterations, verbal expansion, and the use of OpenAI’s DALL-E2 for generating diverse visual outcomes, researchers gain insights into the potential benefits and pitfalls of these tools in an educational context. Students in the digital at case study were taught prompt engineering techniques and were tasked with crafting multiple prompts, focusing on refining their ideas over time. Participants demonstrated an increased understanding of the potential and limitations of generative AI tools and how to manipulate subject matter for more effective results. The iterative process encouraged students to explore and experiment with their creative ideas, leading to a deeper understanding of the possibilities offered by AI tools. Despite acknowledging the ethical concerns regarding copyright and the potential replacement of artists, students appreciated the value of generative AI tools for enhancing their sketchbooks and ideation process. Through prompt engineering and iterative processes, students developed a more detail-oriented approach to their work. The challenge of using AI-generated images as final products was conceptually intriguing, requiring further investigation and consideration of the prompts. This study highlights the potential benefits and challenges of integrating generative AI tools into art and design classrooms, emphasizing the importance of prompt engineering, iterative processes, and ethical considerations as these technologies continue to evolve.
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors explore the use of generative AI, particularly ChatGPT, and the combination of large language models (LLM) with robotics, exemplified by Ameca the Robot.
Abstract: This article explores the rise of generative AI, particularly ChatGPT, and the combination of large language models (LLM) with robotics, exemplified by Ameca the Robot. It addresses the need to study the ethical considerations and potential implications of digital necromancy, which involves using AI to reanimate deceased individuals for various purposes. Reasons for desiring to engage with a disembodied or bodied replica of a person include the preservation of memories, emotional closure, cultural heritage and historical preservation, interacting with idols or influential figures, educational and research purposes, and creative expression and artistic endeavors. As such, this article examines historical examples of the practice in hologram concerts, CGI characters, and others in order to analyze the ethical concerns related to privacy, consent, and commercial gain. It delves into the challenges of accurately representing individual personalities, misrepresenting cultural context, and the limitations of available data. Furthermore, it explores the Pet Cemetery conundrum and its impact on the grieving process, mental health, and the moral implications of using AI to generate interactions with the deceased. By contemplating future use cases like interactive virtual assistants and realistic historical reenactments, the article highlights the importance of addressing ethical implications as these technologies continue to advance and contributes to the discourse on the responsible and ethical use of generative AI, LLM, and robotics in the context of digital resurrection, calling for ongoing discussions and considerations of AI rights, social dynamics, and the grieving process.
TL;DR: In this article , the authors propose an economic system for the metaverse as a virtual world, where the user is the most important subject of economic activity, acting both as a demander and as a producer of user generated content.
Abstract:
The economic system is an important component of the metaverse as a virtual world. At the macro level, the metaverse economy operates in three cycles: the inner cycle, the outer cycle, and the virtual-real cycle between the real world and the metaverse. At the micro level, the user is the most important subject of economic activity, acting both as a demander and as a producer of user generated content (UGC). In the metaverse, market demand is based on the use value and scarcity of goods, and market supply is driven by a combination of economic and non-economic motives. The smooth functioning of the metaverse economy relies on property rights and monetary systems, and blockchain technology is increasingly becoming the basis for both of these systems.

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors explore the characteristics and influence of 3D tools in the teaching process and discuss the role of meta text in the learning process in the context of virtual education.
Abstract: An important approach to the use of emerging technologies is the virtual ecosystem in the field of education, which ensures the creation of an interactive and multi-sensor immersive environment connected to multi-user online applications, resulting in events with extraordinary technological developments on the Internet. The purpose of this demonstrative article is to explore the characteristics and influence of 3D tools in the teaching process. The survey is divided into two main formal parts: the first part is the emerging destructive technology trends, including the emergence of technology, mobile devices and innovative digital training scenarios; the second part describes the virtual world as a multi-sensor tool, because the potential provided by the initial scene of virtual reality is used as a training resource in the culture of educational network. Writing is carried out under the explanatory paradigm supported by the viewpoint of qualitative methodology; the technique of calculating reading through heuristics. Similarly, a comprehensive review of printed and digital resources has been carried out, such as books, magazines, dictionaries, papers, online newspapers, web pages, audio-visual document management, illustrations, videos, etc. Finally, the question was raised: to what extent does meta text affect the teaching process based on virtual education background? The development of the whole survey is revealed by combining key words.
TL;DR: In this article , an overall framework of digital twin smart mining workface was established. And the application scheme of the digital twin intelligent mining face system was designed, where the virtual real mapping and real-time interaction between physical mine entities and digital mine twins could be realized, and the intelligent perception and cooperative control of digital twins was performed, which provided a basis for improving the intelligent level of coal mining face.
Abstract: In order to fulfill the functions of comprehensive perception, real time interconnection, analysis and decision making, autonomous learning, dynamic prediction and cooperative control, an overall framework of Digital Twin Smart Mining Workface was established. Firstly, the digital twin smart mining face system was divided into 3 levels, and the functions and characteristics of each level were given. Secondly, based on the physical domain entities contained in the intelligent mining face, the data perception models of coal shearer, scraper conveyor, stage loader, crusher, hydraulic support, belt conveyor support, emulsion pump station and environment in the digital twin working face system were expounded in detail, and the collaborative constraint relationship among shearer, hydraulic support, coal flow transportation system, workface environment and equipment was analyzed in depth. Finally, the application scheme of the digital twin intelligent mining face system was designed. Based on the digital twin intelligent mining face system, the virtual real mapping and real time interaction between physical mine entities and digital mine twins could be realized, and the intelligent perception and cooperative control of digital twins could be performed, which provides a basis for improving the intelligent level of coal mining face.
