TL;DR: Using the data of 1% national population sample survey 2005, this paper studied and described geographical distribution and demographic characteristics of the nationwide floating population, together with its employment, right protection.
Abstract: Using the data of 1% national population sample survey 2005 the paper studies and describes geographical distribution and demographic characteristics of the nationwide floating population,together with its employment,right protection.The results are shown as follows: the major of the population is from the less-developed central provinces,floating to the developed eastern and southern coastal provinces;The sex structure of the population is quietly changing with an increase of women proportion;The flow time becomes longer,and some people in fact no longer flow;The vast majority of mobile workers engaged in production,transportation,trade and service,with an average income of about thousand yuan a month.Besides,the population's rate of job contract is low,working hours long,level of social insurance participation low.As the result,the protection of their rights and interests need to be considerably further strengthened.

Abstract: To be well aware of the importance of social participation and make a full use of it,the paper studied what effect old people's social participation had made on their mental and physical health.238 elders were sampled at random as the subjects from three communities in Nanjing,and the method was SCL-90 and a self-made questionnaire.The research shows that about 42.4% of the elders enjoyed social participation,the mental health level of whom is higher than those who did not;there is a distinct difference between the two parts in 8 aspects including the SCL total.The positive correlation is obvious their self-felt health,social participation and their mental health.So,social participation is positive to the enhanc of elders' mental health.

TL;DR: Based on the analysis of present community service facilities in Jiangwan and Liangcheng of Shanghai, and according to the census 2000 of the two districts, a population projection by age for future 15 years is made by adopting the method of translation projections.
Abstract: Based on the analysis of present community service facilities in Jiangwan and Liangcheng of Shanghai,and according to the census 2000 of the two districts,a population projection by age for future 15 years is made by adopting the method of translation projections.It shows that the structure of the aged population will expand while the school-age population will shrink slightly in the projection period.The paper hereby puts forward the reference for choosing the indicators of public facilities: adopt top area-targets for Aging population and low area-targets for school-age.

Abstract: This paper analysed by SPSS the statistic data from China's four economic plates and the whole country as well,that is to make a study on the relationship between different industrial developments and immigrant population in the different plates.And this study gets the conclusion that there is really a close relativity,but it differs among different plates,which is to be of great help in the policy making.
