Abstract: Effect of aluminum resources on flame-retardant property of the Mg/Al-hydrotalcite flame-retardant materials is investigated. And Mg/Al-hydrotalcite samples are prepared by one step liquid reaction method at atmospheric pressure. Phase composition of the samples is tested by XRD. Thermal property of the samples is tested by DTA-TG. And the results show that the crystal size of Mg/Al-hydrotalcite, which (A) is made from Al_2(CO_3)_3 as the aluminum resource, is bigger than that of the sample, which (B) is made from NaAlO_2 as the aluminum resource. And the range of the thermal decomposition of the former is wider than that of the later. Meanuhile, the oxygen index of PE-EVA/(A) is higher than that of PE-EVA/(B).

Abstract: Because the close relationship between initiation and growth of electrical tree and partial discharge in channel of the tree, there is direct proportion relationship between degree of discharge and frequency of applying voltages. so, there must be a direct proportion relationship between branch numbers and voltage frequency, this has been proved by our experiments. But it is found also that above experimental result is just a general course, because a few electrical tree become bush like in very long growing period. The mechanism is discussed in this paper.

Abstract: A phenol resol resin modified with an aniline derivative and catalyzed with a teniary anline was synthesized. The influences of the amount of modifier, formaldehyde to phenol molar ratio (P/F), the type and amount of catalyst on the amount of free phenol and the insulation resistance of the laminate after immersion in water were studied. Then a formulation of the modified resin was derived. The resulting resin may be used to manufacture epoxy glass cloth laminates with higher insulation resistance after immersion in water.

Abstract: The imdization ratio of polypyromellticimide insulation varnish under various process are calculated by using specific absorption wave of 725cm~(-1) in FTIR spectrum. It shows that the temperature is the key factor controlling the imidization ratio, and the higher the imidization degree is the better the mechanical property of the material. However, the electrical breakdown strength begin to fall down in 300℃ imidization temperature.

Abstract: Appropriate amount of stearic acid and Sr(OH) 2·8H 2O were melted, into which tetrabutyl titanate was added while stirring. Then the solution was cooled in cool water to form a gel. Nanocrystalline SrTiO 3 powder with even grain size were obtained by calcining the gel at different temperature. The products were characterized by X ray powder diffraction and Infrared spectrum. Equivalent circuits of double impedance of the nanocrystal were generalized. The results of experiments show that the double impedance spectra change from a half circle which is warped at low frequency to a oblique line with the increasing of the measuring frequency as the grain size increases. Their equivalent circuits change from barrier layer series type to Debye type.
