Abstract: Transportation is a high proportion of carbon emissions.And the carbon emissions continued upward trend.The primary causes of increasing carbon emissions was the sharp increase in private car and the change of trip mode.A model was set up to calculate the transportation carbon emissions from 1991 to 2010.And then we found the trends of transportation carbon emissions.According to Decoupling theory,we forecasted three situations of low carbon traffic:non-decoupling,absolute decoupling and relative decoupling.And the last situation was regarded as a suitable target for china.

Abstract: The scenario analysis method is a more popular research method in the international arena in recent years,it is widely used in strategic decision-making,policy analysis and other fields,and become an important dialogue platform with international research institutions.In the past dozens of years,scenarios analysis method quickly expand from Shell to other organizations and institutions,and developed a variety of methods.This paper focuses on the qualitative and quantitative scenario analysis,forward and backcasting scenario analysis method,based on the analysis on scenario analysis school and typology,and innovative puts forward the 8S technology those generally been widely used in scenario analysis process.

Abstract: With the accelerating process of urbanization and motorization,the traffic demand is rapidly growing.Traffic congestion,exhaust pollution and noise pollution have increasingly become the problems perplexing our daily life.Through a questionnaire of Tianjin residents,this paper analyzes Tianjin residents' travel preferences,satisfaction of the main travel modes,and existing problems in each travel mode.Based on the green transportation concept and people-oriented concept,we also put forward some suggestions to improve the green transportation system in Tianjin.

Abstract: With the significant effect of ST on the economic development,the research on the competitiveness of ST has been increasingly paying attention to.The paper designs competitiveness of ST evaluation index system including ST-Input,ST-Output,ST-Potential and ST-Management,and we have a quantitative analysis on competitiveness of ST of 11 provinces in west of China by taking use of principle components analysis in 2009.We find that the level of ST competitiveness in the western region is below the national average,and the overall competition is in a poor condition,and there is an apparent gap between the provinces.The coordination between ST management and ST competitiveness is poor,and the paper proposes that western region should focus on strengthening ST management capabilities while investments in ST.
