TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of seismic waves on the rock medium, after attenuating through crushing zone and ruptured zone, becomes an input load, and the calculated data are basically agree with the tested data, which has proved that the model and method can be used for numerical simulation of propagating process of blasting seismic waves in general rock medium.
Abstract: Through analyzing a lot of tested data of seismic waves from deep hole blastings at a different angle, the changing rules and influence factors of such main parameters as frequency, amplitude and lasting time of blasting seismic waves propagating in a rock medium are obtained, and the empiral formulas for calculating the amplitude of blasting seismic wave acceleration are fitted out by binary regression. On this basis, a calculation model for propagating process of blasting seismic waves and a FEM program have been established. In numerical simulation, the elastic zone is only considered and the effect of blasting waves on the rock medium, after attenuating through crushing zone and ruptured zone, becomes an input load. The calculated data are basically agree with the tested data, which has proved that the model and method can be used for the numerical simulation of propagating process of blasting seismic waves in general rock medium. The study results have provided not only the basis for the establishment of controlling measures of deep hole blasting vibration, but also the reference for the study of similar issures.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors studied the distribution of the blasting induced vibration field at contour of adjacent tunnel and proposed some measures to minimize the blasting vibration on the basis of blasting vibration analysis.
Abstract: Firstly, the distribution of the blasting induced vibration field at contour of adjacent tunnel is studied. It is pointed that maximum vibration velocity occurs at frontal wall and arch to the blasting seismic wave; the vibration velocity at the wall corner is smaller and the vibration velocity of the other side wall is 1/25 of that of the frontal side. Secondly, based on a large amount of test data, effect of blasting features and geological conditions on the vibration attenuation is discussed and theoretically explained. Finally, some measures to minimize the blasting vibration are proposed on the basis of blasting vibration analysis.

TL;DR: Based on several examples of blasting near to buildings in Guangzhou, the time distance effect of blasting seismic waves from a point explosion source was theoretically analyzed in this article, in which the vibration responses of structure and non structure of buildings were calculated by the method recommended in this paper.
Abstract: Based on several examples of blasting near to buildings in Guangzhou, the time distance effect of blasting seismic waves from a point explosion source was theoretically analyzed. In the light of the measured blasting seismic waves, the vibration responses of structure and non structure of buildings were calculated by the time distance effect analysis method. When the short hole blastings with the charge amount over the allowance in “Safety Regulations” were conducted, some safer testing blasts and the concerted vibration monitoring on weak structure points should be carried out as well as the influence of blasting vibration on nearby buildings was checked by calculation methods, thus ensuring blasting safety. The problems on design and construction of the blastings near to buildings had been solved by use of the method recommended in this paper.
