Abstract: Several kinds of traditional control methods of wind power generation are summarized from the perspective of power electronics in the paper.The advantages and disadvantages of traditional control methods are stated.In order to improve the traditional control methods,two kinds of new control methods are introduced.Z source inverter is applied to wind power generation,and the performance of the circuit is improved.In order to improve the performance of the circuit further,Z source inverter and matrix converter are combined,and then it is applied to wind power generation.The ratio of output voltage and input voltage is increased.Anti-interference ability is enhanced and reliability is improved.
