TL;DR: Akers as mentioned in this paper used a steady hand game to demonstrate confidence and competence in using a number of ICT applications available to schools during the course of a Marconi ECT course.
Abstract: Stephen Akers has recently completed his training to become a Marconi ECT ccredited Trainer. The training is quite extensive and demanding and for part of the training, course members look at a wide range of software to help pupils design, model test and evaluate their electronic systems. This article by Stephen Akers, written as one of the assignments for the course, looks at how these software packages can be used in an integrated way to help pupils proceed from initial ideas through to a finished product. The assignment requires him to design a steady hand game using a selection of ICT modelling tools available to schools. He must… ‘…demonstrate confidence and competence in using a number of ICT applications…’

TL;DR: In this article, the use of a digital temperature sensor in a low-cost weather station was discussed. But, the authors focused on the 1-wire technology and did not consider the use in the case of a femperature sensor.
Abstract: Last edition, we looked at low-cost intelligent digital femperature sensors and dataloggers that use Dallas Semiconductors' ‘1-wire’ technology. This time we look at the use of a-digital temperature sensor in a low cost weather station.
