TL;DR: The characteristics of IR image in different wave bands were analyzed,make the radiation characteristics introduced in fusion arithmetic and the new arithmetic for double wave bands IR image fusion based on radiation characteristics was set up as mentioned in this paper.
Abstract: Due to the radiation difference between the target and background in different wave bands,the contrast of target and background is different,which is one of the main reasons on IR image taking on different characteristics.The characteristics of IR image in different wave bands were analyzed,make the radiation characteristics introduced in fusion arithmetic and the new arithmetic for double wave bands IR image fusion based on radiation characteristics was set up.

TL;DR: This floating-point algorithm is applied successfully to a system for real-time canceling image rotation on basis of that the center processor is XC2S200-5PQ208, and it is emulated with ModelSim SE.
Abstract: In view of some characteristics of digital image,a new method of floating-point operation is implemented on a ordinary FPGA chip.On the basis of the characteristic of digital image that the coordinate and the gray level of pixel are positive integer,the fixed-point multiplication,addition/subtraction operations and shift operation which are much easier to be implemented are used to complete floating-point operation.This method of floating-point operation can get over the inadequacy of complex structure,long delay period,hard to assure the real-time processing.This floating-point algorithm is applied successfully to a system for real-time canceling image rotation on basis of that the center processor is XC2S200-5PQ208,and it is emulated with ModelSim SE.The experimental results show that the method has advantages of simplicity,high speed and precision adjustable and it is suit to real-time image processing.

An Algorithm for Images Matching Based on Sequential Similarity Detection with Adaptive Threshold

TL;DR: An algorithm for images matching is proposed based on SSDA with adaptive threshold that can not only get matching position accurately between overlapping images, but also reduce the calculations.
Abstract: In the traditional template-matching algorithm,complicated calculations cause a slow matching speed.Though the Sequential Similarity Detection Algorithms(SSDA) may reduce the calculations,it is difficult to select appropriate threshold.An algorithm for images matching is proposed based on SSDA with adaptive threshold in this paper.The initial threshold is set as the sum of color differences of matching regions on the first location.The threshold is updated adaptively when the difference is lower than the current threshold on latter matching location.The calculations are stopped while the difference of a location exceeding the current threshold,the best matching position can be found corresponding to the least difference over whole image.The algorithm can not only get matching position accurately between overlapping images,but also reduce the calculations.The experimental results are satisfactory.

Abstract: A computing method with computer for the Fresnel diffraction of rectangular aperture is proposed.By transforming the integral of the Fresnel diffraction,the formula of the Fresnel diffraction for rectangular aperture is expressed by the Fresnel integral.Combining the virtue of the MATLAB and MAPLE,we use MAPLE integral order in the MATLAB language to carry out the numerical computing of the Fresnel diffraction and present the result of the numerical computing.This method is applied to compute the Fresnel diffraction of the single slot and half plane.

Abstract: The sequential similarity detection algorithm(SSDA) is studied to improve the conventional image matching,which is an efficient image matching algorithm.A threshold is given in the algorithm,which means the upper bound of distance between the template and the corresponding window in the image.A speed-up algorithm is proposed.The lower bound of distance between the template and the corresponding window is calculated and if the value exceeds the threshold,this window can be skipped.Experiments show that the proposed algorithm has a improvement in the speed compared to SSDA.
