Abstract: Electrical contact is an applied subject focusing on the reliability of electrical connect.Contact resistance is a fundamental index to judge the reliability of electrical contact system.In this paper,the research trend in recent years including effect factors and micro-model of contact resistance was expounded.The method to calculate and measure the contact resistance in electrical engineering was proposed.At last the trend of electrical contact in the future was point out.

Abstract: The electrical contact materials are one of key factors influencing operation of switch appliances systems.It is not only apparatus carrying electric current but also parts of machines.It is requested to well conduct electricity and heat,resist arc erosion,melting and welding,low and stable electric resistance,have certain strength and be easy to process etc.In this study,the AgW(75) electrical contact material had been prepared by the process of infiltrating technology of powder metallurgy and repressing and resintering.The mechanic performance and electrical performance are measured and the micro-structure is observed.The results indicate that the relative density and hardness of AgW(75) electrical contact material can meet the demand of national standards.But the shrinkage rate of the material is big.
